Note to potential buyers: You need two people to carry this amp.

It is a beautiful beast. Definitely regretful sale. The downside of these is that they weigh a tonne being made of solid timber and I have some back problems so I haven't been able to really utilize it. Have bought a smaller amp, so need to get some $$$ back.

I am selling a rare USA made 100 watt 2x12 speaker 1973 Ampeg G212 combo guitar amp.

It is a solid state amp, but it has a beautiful clear tone and is LOUD. I have recently installed new Eminence speakers. It has a really lovely built in reverb and tremelo HOWEVER take note that the built in tremelo is not operational. This amp has 2 channels with 4 inputs in total though both channels are clean, there is no inbuilt distortion on the amp but sounds great with pedals (Did I mention it is brutally loud?).

Also, if your budged is around $1000, I would consider the Sony Alphas (200, 300, 350 models), their entry level DSLRs are great. (I have one, its a beaut) and you can use the last 20 years or so worth of Minolta lenses on them because Sony took them over and kept all the lens fittings the same.

Sweet, thanks! Yeah, I'm a bit stuck with weighing up whether or not the spot metering, image stabilisation and better Live View are worth that extra $200

Image stabiliser maybe (but not that big a deal), live view, forget about, useless and pointless on a DSLR and they can overheat and ruin your sensor.

I stopped and took a good long hard look at the Robotussin at the pharmacy the other day while waiting for a script to be filled... so tempting but with mushroom season in full swing, no need really.
