By the way if you'd like to stalk her I've seen her a couple of times on Carlisle St. Once at Batch, the other was one of the wine bars.

I blanked her both times but think she was dying to be spotted.

I saw them about 5 years ago. They were just OK really even though I completely love they pomp-rock. Sadly the mullets had gone too.

The Darkness were actually supporting though, and were a bit of fun. It was before they'd had a hit and disappeared up their own arseholes.

They're great. I'm a cynical old fella and I think they're really fresh. Great lyrics, cool varied sound, and edgy pop hooks. They remind me of Prince, Beck, OMD, Chemical Bros (only their psychedelical bits), and Kids sounds like it's sung by Brandon from the Killers.

You can shoot me down but Electric Feel and Time To Pretend are classics. Truly inventive - a great sign of assured talent.

God knows why they're signed for four albums to SonyBMG. Hope it doesn't kill their spirit.
