saw his show tonight at the Palais. Full of rich southsiders. Kind of average show although hearing the MSO in the Palais is a very impressive experience.

It surprises me. I interviewed him a couple of years back and he was a lovely guy. I guess they or their tour manager must have dug their music to begin with to get them in the first place, I'd never heard of them before. I'd be surprise if Anthony didn't choose them himself.

I thought Yuck were awesome and Anna Calvi fairly tedious (it would have been much better if her bandmate's harmonium was audible), I think it was more the mix; way too much drum and guitar. A rare pair of lungs though.
