This is why I hate most music being made today. It is just another disposable commodity, with a shelf-life no longer than people's ever-diminishing attention span. Why would pop musicians even try to produce something of lasting quality when the bar has already been lowered all the way to the ground.

Somebody just told me they heard on 3RRR that ATP Mt Buller will be back. Any word on this? Personally, I don't quite believe it. Probably tripping.

Me neither. While the 90s produced some great music, it was the first time in pop music history where hardly any of it reached the mainstream. The underground just went further underground... and yes, record companies like Geffen and the Grunge feeding frenzy were largely to blame.
