Possibly...those tunes were pretty dire. More likely it was the lack of promotion and the fact that it was a midday set at a fete in the middle of nowhere (relatively speaking). The family you can (partially) see in the clip were seriously about half the audience. The rest were just typical fete-goers treating it as background music. Bizarre.

Hopefully it'll be better attended than this gig, (which i was at in 2005 i think, and it was great - lots of Penny Century with Tim Oxley on drums, playing in the middle of the day at a fete)

It's hard to drum up enthusiasm to find that one thread on the front page that doesnt have an electric flu login as the most recent post...when everything's devolving into 'huuur huuur' and the fallout that ensues, its just easier to log out.

For those of you who have moved to the country...Was it the right choice?

If I was willing to go out of my way to make a bunch of new friends it might have been...but that's hard in a quiet redneck town. As it is, I spend most weekends getting the fuck out and visiting Gongside friends an hour away. Cause fuck knows they won't make the drive out here.

I'd ask if the invite includes a +1, plain and simple. Chances are if its not spelt out its just an invite for you, but can't hurt to ask.
