i've found with lots of funk and soul, the worse the album cover, the better the reord. 'mary...' is a really great psychedelic funk record, one of my favourites, kinda like a sinister curtis mayfield. some of the guys behind the music were also in the band 'black merda' and are still playing today http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDQ4pILHh9s
