wow, those cars are hideous.

definitely worth it. there are few tracks where you can get so close, and the cars are pretty spectacular to watch in person. don't watch at a big screen, just find an interesting spot round the back somewhere.

the 'event' side of it kinda shits me. there is so much additional and superflous 'entertainment' going on at all times. i went to the '05 monza gp, and in between track sessions they would say 'see you in two hours', turn the PA off, and that was it. no fucking glenn ridge repeatedly telling you about the fucking helicopters down at turn 12.
