thanks mo, thats good to know.
i think it's rich to say that driving stoned is ok but driving drunk is not. but i've done it.. (never drunk and drove though).
but....young aggressive male drivers are by far the worst ppl on the road.. and then we can go into the difference in skill of the entire population of drivers - now i know that this might piss ppl off but our society demands you have to qualify and study to use heavy machinery - but not cars. you just have to fill out a log book and pass a one off test.
yeah i've heard stories, seems like erryone got a story on pav..
but when cash is coming in by the semi-trailer load you can afford to light a few joints with the green notes.
number 5 is probably around the 3000 - 3500 mark but it fluxuates significantly week in week out. then again heaps of indie stores don't report to aria.
whoever wrote that news item, whoa.. bring out the claws.
unprecedented? maybe unprecedented for a band from whatever school youse are all rambling about.
but good on em. didn't seem like the new stuff was cutting through. they're ambitious and precocious but who isn't these days..
regardless of the accumulated debts i mean..
i don't geddit..
if modular are losing money...then... shit.. what hope is there?
still, chart success and general popularity does disguise the facade of insurmountable overheads. do presets/cut copy etc have 360 deals or are they cleaning up with gig fees while modular bask in the glory of number one records with outnumbered debts?
it's hard to believe.
pitchfork never ceases to amaze and frustrate me.. such a well written condemnation of the presets - but they always apply their vitriol and praise arbitrarily. you can't help but think they'd lash it with superlatives if the writer woke up on the right side of the bed. you never know if they'll plant a flower of a landmine.
they stopped worrying about being ''cool'' when they noticed they had powderfinger's and jet's old audience.
i love how lost out at sea our conservative columnists are at the moment.
i think that's starting to be the best bit about the whole government change thing in all honesty.
by the same token, wasn't cut copy hearts on fire one of the most added songs to radio last week?
commercial radio is a real headfuck.
