I think meetup.com is orright. I have joined a hiking group, a book group and a photography group on meetup and have met some pretty cool people as a result.

I stayed in an apartment with 2 friends for 10 nights in Chelsea and it cost $80 AUD each per night. Now that the dollar has come good it would probably work out to about $55 each a night.
