there's a lot of sites that point you in the direction of a vague locale but lack detail.

fair point. i'd say it's a mixture of nostalgia, sound quality, a nice shiny product, and wanting to kick back and enjoy the album. the turntable i've been using could be described as stock-standard at best which kind of renders the sound quality idea null & void.

i find flipping the disc more than once kills the flow, is what i'm getting at.

why do so many vinyl releases nowaday come in 2 and sometimes 3 discs when they could easily fit most albums on 1?

i realise the sound quality might be better but to me it just means having to change the sides more, takes up more space and consumes more materials. i want my long plays to play long. right on.

i went to http://www.amazingamazon.com.au/. big store, i'd say they'd have what you want.

it was good but i was surprised when the bands started doing originals. call me a purist but i'd expected straight-up covers sets. 1250's got an odd schtick going on.
