What's the verdict on The Post Office Hotel?

These guys ,The Clean and The Great Unwashed are probably the only bands on the ''POP side'' of Flying Nun worthy of note.They p... all over The Bats that's for sure.They are definitely worth experiencing live in all their shabby glory.

11+ Years I've been living in the COBURG end of Sydney Rd.I'm still the only ''Hipster'' here.Anytime we'd see someone in skinny black jeans up here we'd think they were lost!Just like the skinhead we saw at Coles with the Swastika tattoos and prison tatts...Junkies were are rarity too...That's right folks there's a lot of hard working Australian's of middle eastern , Mediterranean descent who like to splash some cash , show some bling ,burn rubber and talk trash ...nothing to be alarmed about.No doubt I'll be in the company of some of you once the Post Office Hotel re-opens.Unless of course you're just here for the food.

Another Bureaucratic Farce!I played the Tote back in the early 90s touring with a band from NZ.It was my 1st pub gig in Aussie.Back when the floor was sunken and the Manager used to park his Harley out in the Garden Bar.We played with Venom P Stinger.Fond memories of that show and the fantastic staff.Anyway - it's sad to see icons like this go ... a huge loss to this city's cultural history.Heading down for a beer for sure.
