I already have some good, vocal mics, monitors, some good preamps on order, so converters are the next in line.

Now, anyone got any experience making bass traps?

Well at this stage we tend to record most of the drums and the difficult stuff at a studio, but ideally its great to be able to record vocals and some overdubs at home. I think if your paying $600+ a day for a studio and you can save a few days by doing vocals at home then yeah I would defs say you can justify it.

Something like this would be nice, also simple (i think)......The Lynx LT-FW goes in the Aurora, then I can connect the a firewire between that and my computer?
