Sam & Max is good, yeah. There's still quite a few coming out of Europe, too. Steam has a few of them.

The lack of adventure games on DS is a bit puzzling, no pun intended. At least Broken Sword has just come out for it.

Monkey Island is amazing. I got an email from Ron Gilbert out of the blue one day and it was possibly the best thing ever to happen to me.

Pretty fucking telling that we're talking airfares rather than the lineup, only an hour after it was announced. Hah.

I love Outside as well and would hasten to add Earthling which a lot of people bagged as Bowie jumping on the drum and bass bandwagon. I think it's a great album and is much better than a lot of the MOR he's been serving up ever since.

Heathen is a pretty good album. Sunday is definitely the best track he's done in the past decade. Reality is pretty awful MOR rubbish though, yes.

I nominate - Beach Boys - Smiley Smile

Sure it's no Pet Sounds and it isnt' the masterpiece that Smile should have been, but taken on its own merits it's a cool album: Heroes and Villians, Vegatables, Wind Chimes...they're great songs.

Totally agree. It's an awesome psychedelic pop album - a pretty basic one, compared to Smile, but it's still a great record.

While the track doesn’t directly speak about any international conflict, and such a suggestion may be well of the mark, with such interesting lyrics it does beg the question - What are they referring to?

http://www.homenormal.com/ is worth checking out. It's a label run by Ian Hawgood, who's a pretty awesome artist in his own right. The two releases on the label so far are both astonishingly wonderful.
