they were fantastic when i saw them earlier this year. i'd go regardless of venue/crowd.
He left in 1994.
Bernard isn't in the 'Introducing the Band' DVD. He's in the Love and Poison videotape, which was made around 1993 I think.
pity it represented the beginning of the end.
b-sides are great. seeing bernard and brett play the living dead a few years ago was pretty fucking amazing.
God damn it, I won't be here when Edwin plays.
i went last week. wasn't overly impressed i have to admit. it was probably that stinking hot hole of a venue, but i thought it was just ok.
Saw them this week and they were great! Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed. Some fantastic tunes in there.
And then Bernard Butler came on stage, which was too good for words.
I agree with HEB. It was good, didn't completely blow me away like I thought it might. I was on the side of the stage in the outer circle. Sound was ok: loud. Still, it was good fun
tonight!
wait a minute, were you people talking about the same Even that I remember supporting Suede at the Forum 10 years ago? Are they still knocking about?!
I like it. Only got it this week so haven't fully digested it properly, but the beginning to''Soul on Fire'' just melts me everytime I hear it.
I don't think I'll be here for the Roundhouse gig, but can't wait to see them at Glasto.
Their gig at POW in Melbs in 2004 was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. Spaceman and co. are quite possibly the best live band on the planet when they're on song.
