fair enough kritz(assumedly?). wouldn't it make sense for someone in the states, one of the labels like sacred bones or nnf to put something like this out over there anyway?

hey slug guts, not a single band from canberra, adelaide, newcastle, hobart or perth in your book? seems pretty narrow

oh yeah last show of the year tomorrow

spring break festival in newcastle with damo suzuki and the holy soul and most of my newcastle friends, ten bucks, 1pm. i would certainly go to this. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=156190437786793&ref=ts

new alps tape on night people ''golden'' will be for sale.

i am about to go from playing 100-150 shows a year to possible 5 next year, in australia at least. big plans. most people pull the ''i've got a kid now'' card while the kid is still in the womb. my kid is two and a half. i've balanced a heavy touring schedule and healthy family life hard the last couple years, but now i've got other plans

and yes, it is highly unlikely i will play melbourne again

weird review. the notv/circle pit thing, those bands are pretty much the exact same scene as royal headache, i can't say it makes any sense to say RH are a reaction to that sydney scene? that's weird. and those bands are also super friendly, unpretentious people? the scene is pretty friendly. and not super-small either. i reckon a fuckload more people go to the shows these bands play in sydney than people go to see whatever their melbourne equivalents are in melbourne. weird vibes goin round here.
