Hello there!! :) We are.... "The Theatrics", a quirky pop rock band with a sense of humour, great costuming and a whole bunch of cool tunes.

After considerable success, with several gigs under our belt and a residency to boot, a recent split in the group has created a slight delay for our plans of world domination!

We are looking for a keyboard/synth player or anyone that thinks they would be interested in our project. We are looking at this project as a new beginning to rework our old stuff and write lots new stuff and record and shop our work around town!

All About Me

The Theatrics are a rock pop suicidal explosion of sound, adding their quirky nature and musical extravaganza to the Sydney music scene and beyond.

The Theatrics began in late 2004 when a musical partnership between one Craig Menaud (Daddy Mac on Guitar and Vocals) and Aaron James McGarry (AJ on mean-ass Tambourine and Vocals) was kicked into gear after winning a Beagle Music Productions competition to record and produce several tracks. This kick start into the music scene was enough to inspire them to get serious or seriously take the piss of the cock-rocking world and create The Theatrics.

Swing forward to mid 2005 and Megan Connor (Megsy on boom-bastic Bass and Vocals) added her funkadelic phat bass grooves to make The Theatrics sound complete.

The Theatrics have played several hot Sydney band venues (as well as a regional NSW concert to a 250 capacity crowd) to much acclaim and admiration. Gigs include performances at The Empire Hotel in Annandale, The Civic Hotel in Sydney City, Candys Apartment in Kings Cross, Newtowns @Newtown RSL and Marrickvilles Cosmos Rock Lounge. After doing their lower west side tour of the moon and neighbouring galaxies, The Theatrics are now set to take on the world.

The name says it all: its a RocknRoll Inspired Show that leaves the audience wanting a little more food on their plate and a trickle of moisture between their thighs. Enough said; this hot, hot heat of The Theatrics simply has to be experienced to be believed!
