Good to see the old North vs South of the river rivalry still exists. At about 1.30am on Sunday morning as i was leaving the Old Bar i walked past a couple of young dudes who were being hassled by two cops. Not sure what the dudes had done but the cops were giving them what for, i'd had a couple and was in a jovial mood, so the full on police interogation made me laugh a little. As i proceeded up Brunswick st i was startled when a police car came screaming up along side me with lights flashing, on the wrong side of the road. The driver jumps out and says to me ''what's so fucking funny?''....i'm not joking here.... i'm in disbelief and being caught of guard stupidly say to him''You are''. This does not go down well and i'm asked for I.D. I provide my drivers licence which he promptly checks out once back in the car. Disappointed they have nothing on me i'm told ''Get the fuck out of Fitzroy and don't come fucking back!'' All because i live in St.Kilda sheesh!
