'Superfuzz Bigmuff' by Mudhoney... only cuz it pretty much changed my life (yeah yeah)
Then a couple of years later 'Frigid Stars' by Codiene did the same. ''This is a cave-in...''

Forthcoming: Grinderman

I have high hopes for this rekkid.
I just hope Cave, Ellis and co keep getting more and more twisted and gnarled as they grow older - sound-wise and visually. Imagine coming accross the Grindermen in a dark alley. It's like Cave's writing himself into And the Ass Saw the Angel... they could be the house band in that novel (if you know what I mean).

really dig the double guitar interplay davey. which is ironic seeing as yr on bass and that's one of yr strengths! besides karaoke that is (our double vocal version of Drain You rightly deserved it's 100 point score methinks!).
looking fwd to seeing the Aha play again now that i've heard the album. nice work (you ended playing bass on the record yeah?)

midget are playing there tomorrow night in the 'new room' w/ further, grand fatal and raprager in support. should be interesting to see this new room.
tonight however we are playing with magic dirt sans dean (and as a tribute to dean) at manly fishos..... should be interesting.

I'm not trying to be negative - on the contrary I like this new stuff - but to me some of the production sounds shitty. Not the guitars and vocals - they sound fine - but the bass and drums (especially the drums) sound incredibly thin.
Just my opinion...
