Bala Da Dhaba has a dish called CTBM, which i think is Chicken Tikka Butter Masala or something like that. They do the chicken in the tandoor, then the sauce is all sorts of sweet buttery goodness.

Interestingly, butter chicken was invented in Scotland.

It's southside, but Bala Da Dhaba on Glen Eira Rd in Rippon Lea is worth a trek. Also 'My Restaurant' on High St, near the corner of Chapel St is great for take-away. It's South Indian, and it's stupidly cheap. The Goat Masala is off the hook. And the Dhal is about 4 bucks and incredible. I'm literally salivating. Ew.

I haven't had a turntable in years and I've got a crate of great records going musty. Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy a cool old record player? Something with wood grain, preferably. The kind your parents sold at a garage sale in 1987 when they bought a CD player.

I have Appetite For Destruction on vinyl, so, you know, it's important.
