my first parroty thread...

It was bought to me courtesy of the school. It was a wicked book about how to be a private eye. I've still got it at home. I also use it in class with the kids, it's got some cool puzzles in it. A real blast from the past.

I remember being allowed to buy a book at one of the school book fairs because I borrowed the most books that year. I got to do it twice as well! I was so happy.

Midnight Oil - Blue Sky Mining. Although I was given / bought a few mix compilations beforehand, most notably 86 - Bop 'Til You Drop and TMNT soundtrack (first ever CD I owned). GOLD.

Got a Holger Czukay album for $15, A byrds one for $6, June 1 1974 for $20, and a spoken word "flight to the moon one for $10.

I must admit that the range is getting smaller and smaller. Who wants to get all their stuff off ebay? Surely the search is half the joy.

I've had to sit in on various sex ed classes. Luckily we don't teach them. It's great seeing the really unpleasant clueless boys feel really uncomfortable.
