went to Eleven down at King St Wharf last night. Very nice. Build your own degustation. We had Kingfish carpaccio, Bouillabaisse, Roasted duck on lentils and Wagyu roast and then desserts of chocolate fondue/macaroon and a vanilla brulee. pretty good value for the service and quality.

that's all very conspiratorial

it's more along the lines that we work as long as we're prepared to do without organising to fight to reduce the hours. it's a balance between markets and unionisation that defines our work hours.

Usually I rain on parades and cynically remind people why their source of happiness is unreliable and unreasonable. Fine I admit: there exist these short fragments of delight to forget the icy fear around us, but there rest of life is mostly one creative plague after another. To me what is Real is the oration of stone possessed emotion. I yearn isolation from this realisation. I accept the elation of blissful tranquillity, obsessions they lay among the bleak and sinister.
