So for those of us that are tragics and have finished 5 and want more there are the Duncan and Egg stories that occur 90 years prior to GOT. So far it seems you can only get them on the separate fantasy anthologies they were first published in, which doesn't appeal to me. The other option is wait for him to write the 4th one of these and then he's putting them out all together in 2013, which doesn't appeal to me either. Anyone got a Kindle? Can you get them as separate stories on Kindle?

I think one character, probably Tyrion, reflects on the basic similarity of the serfdom and slavedom in the different countries so I don't think Martin claims any level of cultural difference that evolutionary theory wouldn't validate.
