Midnight Believer Melbourne album launch - this Friday at Roxanne!

Dear chats,

Sorry if you feel you've been spammed. After this, we promise we won't do anything worthy of reportage ever again. But this Friday night, we're playing at Roxanne Parlour and joining the party is Mixylodian, Parking Lot Experiments, Peter Escott (Tas) and Slo-Mo Speedboat (Jamie from AiH, solo).

Doors are at 9pm, and tickets are $12 presale through Moshtix or on the door. This is the last show of our tour with Mixylodian - a good friend of ours from Montréal, for whom we've been acting as backing band - which has seen us play in Hobart, Brisbane, Sydney and Newcastle so far (we're playing in Adelaide on Thursday night). We'd love to have you there to help us make party. Maybe we can go karaoke downstairs after!

Janita here, I read this the other day whilst sick in bed and though it immensely rad. Had no trouble making it all the way through. Emmy rules.

loveisafist you say? perhaps i'll track him/her (presumably him) down and approach this textchimp fella. i don't remember seeing the rad dancing at NSC last year but i sure do remember him dancing to NKOTB thats for damn sure.

we're not looking for a replica, because it would be sheer folly. i don't believe one exists, we'll never find someone who dances like that, though we are after somone who is willing to shake booty in their own unique way..... who is this textchimp? the name is familiar.

that's right.

sadly, captain rad, the drumming man in the ramps is moving to perth, leaving the ramps drummerless.

you can also buy an unvalidated ticket and put a massive crease down the magnetic strip so it won't validate. if inspectors get on tell them the guy at the 7-11 sold you a dodgey ticket and you paid good money for that damn thing and ain't gonna buy another..
