Just realised there's actually TWO 26 year old ricardinho's who played for Jeju United recently, the good one and the average one, and i've been looking at clips thinking it's all the same guy.

The Ricardo Weslei de Campelo one actually doesn't look too bad.

Yeah, looking at his career trajectory it's not too much different from Allsopp or Smeltz before they got here.

Fucking hope he can do the business though.

Last fucking thing we need is another player to dick around with the ball at their feet and have no idea about making runs off the ball and putting the fucking thing in the net.

We need a draught horse striker who'll do the bulk of the scoring for us, not another fucking ineffective show pony.

I'd say give Skoko a position further up the pitch to create, Thompson, or Sarkies when he's back, beside and a bit deeper and Srhoj in the holding role when he's fit. That's a good central midfield that can both win the ball and provide it to the attacking trio.

That's a central midfield that can win the ball and set up a good counter, but if you're going to play the 'passing' game that Heart are attempting to play you need someone with excellent instincts who can take advantage of the gaps you're opening up. Like Bridges was doing against your lads. You just don't have that player that makes it all work on your list.

I do think it's going to be a long season for your lads, they should've ceased negotiations with Skoko as soon as they'd already spent up on Thompson and Srhoj and gone after a genuine creative player rather than another CM (Beauchamp's pay check is also a bit of a waste imo).

It's really not fair that it's not there at all yet. From day dot Wellington, GCU and even Fury could threaten opposition defences and score goals and both Wellington and Fury had significantly worse lead ins than heart. Heart basically looks as impotent and clueless as Adelaide did last year and, with the complete lack of a quality attacking play-maker, it's really hard to see it getting any better.

With Colosimo and Beauchamp defensively they'll shore up and will grind out a few 0-0 draws and 1-0 wins but in front of goal there's not even the faintest inkling that they'll do well. It's not a case of players not reading brilliant balls from their teammates it's a case of them just never being played, that's the concern.

After their first two games it's becoming pretty obvious that Heart play the worst football in the league.

I really think Heart have erred in not getting a genuine No 10 to run the show in the attacking half of the pitch. Having Srhoj, Thompson and Skoko all playing a pretty similar style in the centre of the park isn't going to do them any favours, they have a lot of good passers of the ball but not really anyone who can read/dictate the play in the final third. Would've been worth not getting Srhoj and spending that money on an international creative mid imo.

Kind of wonder if they'll go the international marquee option if things don't go too well over the first few months.
