wow...can't believe this thread I started has almost reached 1000 replies. I've never broke 1000 replies on a thread before.

I saw my first YAI gig in about a decade last Friday night - went up to see them play with Cold Chisel in Coffs Harbour. Given all the things that have been written about YAI's shows in recent years (Tim's lost his voice, etc), I approached it with a bit of trepidation.

Reality was that they were bloody great. Tim's voice - never the strongest instrument - was as expressive as ever. They were a tight, powerful unit. Really enjoyed it.

god this is painful.

I used to ahve my own office in which I could fart with impunity. Now I'm in an open plan, I have to hold it in all the time and make repeated trips to bathroom if I really want to let rip. It saddens me.

Glad I'm not the only one. Was starting to think I was being a bit of a pedant.

Yeah, sorry, I knew that there was that news piece...but I figured of the very small amount of people who might be interested in coming to this they might have just thought I was bumping a story about Lanie Lane or the Hard Ons. I figured I go whole hog.
