I'm not particularly knowledgable about Metallica or Lars....but I'm surprised the drumming is as shit as it is on this album. It's really quite bad. It's like he badly recorded the bass drum independently.

Her last two albums are crackers. Somewhat alt.country, somewhat almost country country which can be a bit slick and initially disconcerting ...her songwriting however wins out and is really really great.

I think the level of appreciation here should be enbiggened!

I agree, a lot of the books mentioned are really great.

First world problem? Sure.

I have cold milo down pat. The joining of cold full cream milk and copius amount of milo is a beautiful thing.

But hot milo has me stumped. For years I've been struggling. The argument surrounding the adding of sugar is timeless. I've heard rumours of people adding sweetened condensed milk....this sounds pretty appealing. Boiling water with a bit of milk, or just hot milk? How much milo?

Basically, what do you do, because I'm cold and want a good hot milo. Cheers.

What's with the summerteeth indifference? Such a good album. Wilco at their finest.

On and on and on is probably one of my favourite wilco songs! The low point for me is Hate it Here. The high point, of course, Impossible Germany.
