there are a couple of ways to do flash stuff

*: just in the editor, like making a movie

*: in the editor, but with little bits of code. this is messy but you get results very fast, which will give you enough training and motivation to move on to:

*: doing the whole thing in code, including a game engine, basic physics etc. this is time consuming, requires planning and insight (and probably multiple rewrites), but is the best way to do it

any kid can learn the first way, and the other ways just kinda follow

That and rewiring the guitar hero drums so i can use them as a midi controller.

xbox/ps3 usb adaptor into something like joy2midi ?

....or you can pick up a toneport or a delta 66 (if you have a desktop) for under 300 bucks and run it with reaper (licenses are 50 bucks but it's uncrippled nagware)

unless you're doing film post production, i reckon reaper is way better than pro tools.
