There's a NON live recording from 1979 included, which provides some indication of the compilation's scope.

No way! That Prurient record is so silly.

Ha! I really love many elements of it, and I've found myself revisiting it a lot this year. I think that it does push towards camp territory in places, but much of it sounds really sweet to me - especially 'Many Jewels Surround The Crown' and 'Watch Silently'. I also really enjoyed observing the adverse reaction of US noise heads to the album - many seemed to view it as some kind of betrayal.

Here's another flyer I did only because the type in the original wasn't legible on the Facebook event page. That's the mark of a quiet evening in if ever there was one.

Either a bird (on the way out anyway, I just helped it along) or a rat. Assisted in the killing of a chicken once, but didn't do the deed ultimately. Interesting to consider in light of the fact I consume parts of cows most days.

Yeah parts appear, but they are often executed in a different manner. There's also a lot of stuff that wasn't a part of the set I saw in Melbourne.
