I kinda like what Obstacle is saying. Most of you are just arguing because it's Obstacle and he's po faced on a soapbox, like always. If it was someone elsed saying it they'd just be ignored or people would be agreeing with them.

No, I disagree because I have photo albums and a myspace site, and the reason for me having them is for my friends. I have a lot of photos in my album that people can't see, but I leave a lot up because I know there are people who would like to see them.

Maybe I'm not the kind of person that is being used as an example, but I put photos up to share with people that I shared the moment with - hence the reason for taking the photos in the first place.

BUT, that said, who gives a fuck if you think they're trying to party too hard for what they look like. Maybe, just maybe, they are actually having a good time? I go out for many many hours on end and take stupid amounts of stimulants to do it and talk to lots of people and say lots of stupid shit and do a lot of stupid things, but I think it's fun. Blake would think I was a fucking idiot for it, and a lot of other people would too. But he can't tell me if I'm having fun or not, because I'm there and I decide if I want to do it or not. I've documented a lot of nights out, simply because I want some memories for down the track. Exactly what sister was saying before, it's like a slideshow - no one really expects you to understand or enjoy the moment that was portrayed, but everyone tries to convey it. (it's also the same thing that makes a good photographer - if you can capture and recreate a moment in still form)

All the photos you're seeing probably are of people actually having fun. If they're having fun hanging out with friends in the corner taking photos of each other - who the hell are you to question it? It's better than sitting around and dwelling on it, isn't it?
