it was the only instrument taken from a full batch of band gear including guitars, drums, horns, etc.

Between late Sunday 29th March and early Tuesday 31 March, a Fender Fretless Precision Bass walked out of the Theatre Royal in Castlemaine.

Here's the description, and if you come across it, could you please contact the Castlemaine State Festival office on 03 5472 3733.

White body, brown wood fret board. 3 volume dials one of which doesn’t match the others. White strap with a dragon design. 1 switch, and the jack plug for lead is on the side edge.

The case is black, rectangular shape with curved corners dated 1964. Irreplaceable. Black vinyl outside marked clearly with the word FENDER. The case is lined with a fluffy blue material, and there is a pocket for leads etc either side of the where the neck of the guitar sits.
