i didn't mind season 2, i thought the whole dokes thing was neat.. season 3 has been alright, it's been building for a while with some crazy shit, especially smits' character.. maybe i'm just amazed they've written him this far..

run on sentence. also fuck the US funny games remake. i don't mind the original for what it is, but a shot for shot remake was pointless, and michael pitt is probably the biggest douche acting today..

roger moore's my favourite bond, in context of the era(s), his ones standup the best, but brosnan fit the mould well, goldeneye is one of the better bond plots of all time, and sean bean one of the better villains, the rest of brosnan's bonds just didn't live up..

cryptograms deserved hype, it was/is still really good, especially with the fluro gay ep, but with the exception of nothing ever happened, microcastles is average as fuck, and weird era is a couple of things that could have been great but largely a waste of time, all this hyperbole is some serious emperors new clothes bullshit. dudes great at pumping out shoegazey noise loops, but its all REALLY diluted now, and thats actually what it sounds like, not a good band, and they're not the same band, and just not as good. cryptograms had an atmosphere, and actual songs within the meandering, that worked together.

would have been good to see them back then to compare, i saw them with the liars in june, on the cusp of the leak, and the beginning of the show was great for 3-4 songs (crypto), then it was all new stuff, and not because of closemindedness or anything, i rushed thru london peak hour to make it, but it bored me to fucking tears so much i had to walk out..
