I say one in canberra about Richard Feynman I think it was called QED and a few years ago I was delighted to see Jacqueline MacKenzie in Proof.
I took my sons, then 13 and 17 to QED and was very pleased that they enjoyed it.
I love plays about maths and physics. I think that one is about the famous taxi cab number,
As GH Hardy said:
I remember once going to see him when he was lying ill at Putney. I had ridden in taxi-cab No. 1729, and remarked that the number seemed to be rather a dull one, and that I hoped it was not an unfavourable omen. ''No'', he replied, ''it is a very interesting number; it is the smallest number expressible as the sum of two [positive] cubes in two different ways.''
Well and truly out-geeks me
yes it is John Kerry
Ms Godzilla is a subscriber. I usually go to 1 or 2 plays with her. This year, for Streetcar, only the subscriber could get tickets initially. She couldn't get an extra one for me.
Last week they notified (in a letter made to look like it came personally from Cate and Andrew) that extra tickets are now available. But even if I went on the same night as her, we wouldn't be sitting next to each other. I think this year's organisation sucks.
