a friend sent me this same email about a week ago. someone else on the email list replied all to say it was a known hoax with a link to a site about it. it actually infuriated me that my friend sent me the email when to me, it is so blatantly obviously a pile of crapola. it was a friend who rarely ever emails me, yet suddenly had the energy and inspiration to find and use my email to contact me with this time wasting shit so she could supposedly gain from it. not only that but i think it's rude she felt comfortable with using my email details to send back to someone she doesnt know. the whole thing totally shat me off and i let her know this. i think i'm getting extra grumpy and intolerant the older i get. but honestly, who couldnt work out this was a load of bollocks?

i think you'll find there has always been some fucked parents around, not just ''these days''. besides, i think that the parent cares enough for the kid to wear a hat lolly or not shows the parent isnt all that bad.

i think taking your 15 month old in a pram and 4 year old FISHING at 8pm out on a wharf when the conditions are rough is very fucked parenting.

babe. this is the one that gets me. hate it. people who are barely friends yet call you babe? even worse, strangers. also the pet name couples use to address each other in front of others makes me violently ill. i also find it infuriating if someone in the service industry calls me darl. more so if it's from someone clearly younger than me. old ladies throwing this one around, depending on context, i might be able to let slide. on a side note, karl stefanovic routinely uses the term 'big fella' for a lot of his male co-hosts and guests. this grates on me too. oh, and 'buddy' amongst male folk. just as fake and insincere.

i literally just finished making a spiderman softie for a mate's 3 year old who's gone spidey-mad. i'm pretty happy with it. hope the kid is too.
