I did an overseas exchange with Deakin. It was great. When I did my sums it cost me the same to live over in the UK (round about) as it did in Australia. When I did mine there was a scholarship available. It wasn't much, basically paid for the air fare, but enough to make studying overseas within reach......

screw you all! i found someone so never mind. You can all go back to be sarcastic elsewhere. The city was Melbourne and i was looking for someone to play at the state library tomorrow where we are holding a rally. I got charlie parr. So any parr people go see him tonight at toff in town and come over at 1pm in your lunch break and watch him play off the back of a truck.

Basically as the title says i'm looking for a band for a lunch time gig tomorrow..... I've got good money to pay for two sets of 20 mins seperated by 45 mins downtime. Anyone who is interested please pm me or call me: 0431830268.............

it sounds like it could be interesting. cut some crap records up and glue or stick them back to gether and play those on it. The erratic speed will actually add to it. Christian Marclay would be proud. Christian on Youtube

I don't know if anyone is interested but there is a rally tomorrow at the athenaeum in melbourne protesting about lack of funding for unis.

yep was pretty good. I liked when she basically told the complaining people to go shoot themselves. sigh. the old guy next to me laughed for ages about that one. lenny was great. i was imagining them being young sitting in the park talking about crap with maplethorpe and having a rad time.
