I really enjoyed the last series. Looks like you've got some good talent lined up for this one. I look forward to the podcast.

If you're starting out, then your best bet is through websites like Faster Louder or The Dwarf.

You'll have troubles shooting film though. Everyone will want digital files pretty soon after the show.

And it'll take some time to work your way up to the bigger gigs which require photo passes. Start with the shows that don't require a pass to hone your skills and gain the trust of the outlet you shoot for.

Berfinger from Philadelphia Grand Jury handing me the mic at the end of the set was just the start of the weird photographer/performer interactions.

During Jay Reatard's set he hopped off the stage mid-song and took my camera and gave me his guitar. I couldn't play his guitar and he couldn't work my camera so it was awkward and yet awesome on all accounts.

The 5D is ace. It's been very good to me.
