Saw Lighthouse Keepers last night (very good), and Ups & Downs tonight (great). Both their sounds are so evocative and thankfully largely intact. Tonight Greg's vocals were near faultless, only asking for some hot water near the halfway mark as he was belting it out like he was gigging 7 days a week as a younger man 20+ years ago.
The band were tight, in good humour, telling stories and jokes – best 27.50 spent in ages.
