Thanks Hellza. That may be the reason for my horrific shin splints that I get too. About a minute into it, it's on! But then goes away or becomes more bearable.

I can't seem to get past the 2km mark. This is a gradual increase from not being able to run 3 mintues a couple of months ago!! I want to build up to 5km or more. Doing the 2km in 10mins. I run after weight training so maybe I'm just spent from that?

Not sure if it's diet or not enough of it, I am always hungry and by the time I run after work I'm starving, maybe it's not enough fuel??
