Death Mattel are looking for 2 guitarists. 1 x Rhythm/Keys 1 x Lead

Must: Be at least 17 Be in or near Sydney Be pretty committed (Being in other bands is fine but it occasionally causes logistics nightmares) Be self sufficient, proactive and enthusiastic. Be able to play adequately...brilliance not necessary. Be able to sing in tune Be part of the creative process Be prepared to travel/tour Be prepared to wear Blue (see pictures) Be able to tolerate long tirades about how fucked the music industry is. Be prepared to get NOwhere with Death Mattel [Not that you'll be wasting your time. Just that if you think playing in Death Mattel means pursuing dreams of WEMBLEY Stadium, private jets and so on...Fuck Off] Be prepared to play to 6 people on a rainy Tuesday night in a back lane in Sydney/Stockholm/Bendigo and pay for the privilege. Be of the (politically) LEFT Persuasion. You Don't have to be an Eco-terrorist, Commie or Cuban freedom fighter. If however, you've ever voted Liberal, EVER...Don't waste you time applying. Instead, Go and hang yourself. Be individual but not egotistical. [This bares no reflection on any members past or present. Simply, our shit isn't any better or more important than anybody else's shit. We'll play whenever and where-ever we're given the opportunity]

Preferred (but not essential): Vego Non Smoker Ability to play other instruments. Part time or Casual worker (for touring convenience) Driver Someone with STINKING RICH Parents that want to their kid's band to be so big, that they buy up all the ARIA votes. Then will help bail us out when we give Rove a fuckin hiding back stage.

Death Mattel now wont be playing tomorrow night at Spectrum. Apologies.

Tonight at the Espy still goes ahead as planned.

Besides Death Mattel playing at the Espy Front Bar tonight (on at 10.30pm) in St Kilda supporting the likes of Kamikaze Trio, Kids In Russia and Telecom. There is also now another gig added last minute to be played tomorrow night (Saturday) at Spectrum in Darlinghurst in support for Love Outside Andromeda. First on at 8pm.
