Welcome back.
Highlight of the trip?
Brief summation?
Thanks Rigid. I emailed an address off the site and got no reply.
I reckon I like his short stories most.
Faves are probably The Mystery of Marie Roget and Loss of breath.
Great Apes was the only band we caught - I really liked it! I've done door for them twice but had never caught the spectacle in the (stuffed-y-front) flesh. Probably not quite the right atmosphere for them, though.
Stuffed Y-front? That's the most scathing comment they've ever had!
I heard a store holder complained to the organisers that it wasn't 'Family entertainment'
Great Apes at Spectrum
Yep, we'll both be there for sure.
Howdy Mrs L.
I'm not playing. Great apes are headlinging so I guess about 10:30 - 11pm start.
Free Hat (McCulloch)
An awesome triple bill: The electro-rock psychedelia of Justin Ossher. The indie-pop quirkiness of Alien Zoo. The bizarre antics and glitchy electronica of Great Apes. Moshtix $10+BF or $15 on the door
Great Apes are launching their new single - Addicted to Music.
They're also playing this Sunday at the Newtown Festival (12pm main stage) for anyone who might be interested.
