Powderfinger Named ‘Hottest Of All Time’; Striborg Misses Out

Wow. That top ten itself is just weird. I'm pissed that custard didn't even make the list. So people who now listen to triple j are bogan/mor? Oh dear.

Hottest 100 Countdown: Striborg Still On Track For #1

How many albums are prior to 1980s? Let alone 1970s?

Is this top 100 even relevant? No one cares except those who listen to the station, and being a youth station, it's gonna screw the results right? And the only other people who care are those who used to listen and wish the station wasnt so shit and misses the old (me included).

I would rather triple r had a top 100. It would be more realistic ( or other state equivalent).

Wow finally watch the video. How do they get from eno/reed to pav? Couldn't use nick cave cause of past atp? Is this just a tourism thing? How does he keep his desk so clean?

It's Sydney, isn't it supposed to be crap? Are you twelve?

Went too far? I guess Sydney has always been a bit more commercial, so I'm not surprised that this has happened. Not like Sydney looks after it's music scene, meaning government at all levels. it sucks but the authorities haven't made life easy there. not sure who organised the Lou reed and eno stuff in the past, but surely organisations with money, but also older. Thankfully there are people doing it on there own, ie what is music, independent or small promoters, but is sucks to not have access to money to keep them afloat. Maybe vivid organisers thought the modular boss would attract a younger audience. And perhaps they are out of touch.

Didn't think there was an ikea rip off. I have a green one bought many years ago from an op shop. Now it would cost a bit, especially orange, the green isn't as pretty. Also have a white base, but no shade.

Is that the Orange lamp in the background of the picture referred as the ikea lamp? Looks like expensive retro vintage lamp. They were cheap in the 90's from op shops, but not anymore.

How long has this vivid thing been around for? As a Melbournian, never heard of it. Don't care. It's Sydney, isn't it supposed to be crap? Or have things changed in the last 4 years? The only interesting music curated has been the Sydney festival stuff?
