whether he wrote that press release or not, he must've ok'd it, right? it's pretty awful. and lonngggggg. i dunno. it just reeks of self-importance and is a massive turn off.

According to discogs that album that came out in 2004, which woulda made him 23 years old! prolly didnt even know what a press release was, but that the fella was even makin records that people still talk about now as a kid says it all. Less than a decade later hes got an international career that attracted the attention of one of the most revered and respected musicians in the world. This is exactly why the Ben Frost's and Nick Cave's of Australia leave and dont come back, they are never allowed to just be who they are or respected for what they do coz in this country you are always who you were and what you did.

jeez, no wonder the guy never plays here. Tall poppy syndrome much? whatever label put out his record prolly wrote that press release- they are all hyperbole and all terrible, but this guy just achieved something amazing and the only reaction his home town can muster is too piss all over him. Shameful.
