Festivals generally are nightmarish shit, with the occasional exception like Meredith.

could not agree more, though I've never been to Meredith. I hate seeing a decent act on a festival line up because the people who are in the crowd are there purely to be in a crowd not so much for the music.

If these last shows were really for the fans, surely they would play on the Sunshine Coast or atleast Brisbane.

Say what you will about them but its a really enjoyable live sow.
