from my recollection, ''digital sheen'' was the opposite aim . we did use digital along side a crappy 1/4inch tape machine with old used tape and a mechanical spring reverb to intentionally negate the artifacts of digital recording. everything about this album is more or less intentional.

ha - I and most of the soundies I know won't!!

The program is cuemix, which is the native mixing engine for motu sound interfaces - I use this to provide latency free live monitoring to the artist during tracking. this works in parallel to logic

The clip was created by Sean Fennessy The soundtrack to the clip is 'drunk on blood' from Ivy St's last album Picture Machine which was recorded and mixed by Anthony Rochester.

Mixing and premastering will continue in Hobart this week, then the project will head back to Melbourne for final mastering in my studio. Release on vinyl in the very near future.
