kicks were a great band - mels teaching now or something - she released a solo record last year on valve but thats it i think. matt plays drums in the rational academy now and guitar in do the robot (before that he was playing drums for the original lineup of skul hazzards)

totally. they were just nice people before but now im really into what theyre doing.....except the river...the rest of the new album is a great step in new direction!

ok - if i really have to spell it out for you tmac - spraying stenciled helicopters over existing paintings (mostly mountain backdrop scenerey) is something banksy does - not folk musicians from Brisbane 8 years later. Its the artistic equivelant of Jet stealing lust for life...at least they changed the words.

the solo shows have been amazing - not taking anything away from the killer lineup he's assembled - just that, for me, the quartet hasnt yet hit the peaks those first few solo nylon string shows did....im sure theyll get there tho.
