NP182 Regional Curse ''Natural Living'' C36 Another release generated from international meetings of the heart and mind this time as the by product of a week spent in Adelaide AU at the residency of Stacey Wilson aka Rites Wild aka Regional Curse. With a recent Rites Wild LP finally giving Stacey some recognition beyond her very prolific residency in Australia this cassette under the Regional Curse project rides like the dark horse to Rites Wild's white knight. Regional Curse is a bit more centered in the pictured sound of lost highways, drifter blues, industrial menace, and that vast open expense of sun baked desert that is the majority of Australia. Regional Curse has a nice lineage in its industrial and electronic experimental leanings to the great wealth of similar sounds historically centered out of Australia via bands like Severed Heads and the like. Serious grit to this release the kind of sonic meditation that is much more about uneasiness then any sort of positive resolution.

hold the phone. in the alesis specs is says:

Power Consumption: 12 Watts max (100-240VAC/50- 60Hz)

does that mean I can just use a plug adaptor, no need for a converter?

I need to power an alesis micron and a yamaha MG82CX mixer in the states.

the micron is 9VAC, 1.5A, mixer is AC 38VCT, 0.62A

would I need to buy two or can I use a power strip to plug them both in to the same converter?

I've left it too late to get the US adaptors for these so am hoping this lil' converter guy will work...
