Just stating what most people are too afraid to say to their vain, superficial friends. Maybe I do have issues, maybe I don't. I was criticising the obsession with it, not individuals.

I hate it when people talk extensively about gym, working out, ''pumping iron'', getting fit...etc. That's only interesting to YOU............WE DON'T CARE!

If going to the gym is your number one priority, then your life is pretty fucked up.

Do people actually feel cool having friends express these kind of comments? vomits I hate indie hipsters who have nothing better to do than glorify their ''indie-ness'', ''hip-ness'' and ''oh-so-pretty indie partner''. How fucking sad. Those are the types who wouldn't go to a gig or festival on their own...god forbid someone seeing them on their lonesome without a pretty indie partner/friend.

If people could do even the most menial activities - driving a car, pushing a shopping trolley or eating a pastie - as effortlessly as he plays the drums, the world would be a much cooler place.

This is not thread-specific...it's just a bit of a rant about the whole thin-fat bullshit. It's frustrating when people think being fat is all about over-indulgence. Ah, sometimes it's simply a lack of exercise that's primarily due to the fact that the person lives a productive life that doesn't involve much physical activity. It's not an excuse - it's just a reality sometimes...oh, and some people think there are other things more important than hitting the gym at every opportunity. Being thin doesn't mean attractive to everyone, you know - sometimes, being thin just means being thin. I feel sorry for people who think being thin is actually a quality.

I can't believe people watch this rubbish...doesn't it make you wanna throw the TV out the window while bemoaning the increasingly sad state of society...

Regardless of what people may think of Hewitt, there's no denying that tennis and sporting-wise he's an absolute legend. For starters, he became the youngest male ever to be ranked number one in the world at the age of 21, and stayed in the number one position for about a year and a half - an amazing achievement. He defeated Andre Agassi at the age of 16 and went on to win his first career title at that age. Pat Rafter may be a ''top bloke'' but he's never achieved anything close to what Hewitt has achieved. Plus, Hewitt's ''bratty behaviour'' has been exaggerated. While some tennis players may not like the way he acts out his competitiveness, it's evident that every tennis player respects him as a player. To be honest, Australians don't appreciate how good a tennis player Hewitt is. Most countries would be worshipping him. If you truly appreciate tennis, you would respect him immensely as a player.
