We suggest a donation of $15 should be given to the person sitting at the door :)

We advise coming early as it does look as though the yard will be full fairly early on.

Carwyn Cellars has the goods again this year for thirsty Applecore punters. Go there, mention Applecore and they'll look after you.

Coopers doesn't come in a can you say? Well it does (kind of) we've got a special on Dr Tim's Traditional Pale Ale cans so you can get a 6 pack for $15!

There will also be a special on some sort of cider in a can and a bunch of other cheap boozy goodies for you to choose from.

We love Carwyn Cellars... 829a High Street, Thornbury.

Wow.

Ok, let us just reiterate something quickly. Applecore is a festival run by two people, neither of whom are Hellzapoppin. He graciously lets the festival operate in his backyard, for which, we are eternally grateful. Saturday is shaping up to be nice and sunny and the search for treats to put on the barbeque have begun. Love, Applecore.

We still have a few volunteer spots available for Applecore on Saturday. Anyone willing to cook BBQ, be a door bitch or do merch for a couple of hours should send us an email (applecorefestival@gmail.com) and in return you will get free entry to the festival plus a festival showbag. Woweee!

Ok so obviously pre-sale tickets are sold out, but there's still plenty of tickets that can be bought at the gate. Just make sure you get down early cause we'll stop sales when it gets full. If you have a ticket obviously you can turn up any time (not that you'd want to miss the early bands).

We'll be sending out an email to ticket-holders and people who have signed up to the mailing list very soon, which will have all the information on it. So if you want to be on that mailing list just send an email to applecorefestival@gmail.com with the word 'subscribe' in the subject line. (And don't worry we're not going to bombard you with spam and other promo stuff.)

Less than three weeks away! And don't forget about the Screamfeeder sideshow at the Tote on Fri the 25th, as well as Gentle Ben and His Sensitive Side at the Grace Darling the same night (shame about the clash but it was only nights both bands could do shows). You can get tickets for the Screamfeeder show at www.applecorefestival.com

Fewer than 10 pre-sale tickets left. There will still be limited gate sales but only for early-birds. We'll keep posting info here but if want the news delivered straight away then join the mailing list (which we don't actually have yet) by emailing applecorefestival@gmail.com with 'subscribe' in the subject line. Don't worry about doing about this if you've already bought a ticket.

SCREAMFEEDER PLAYING AT THE TOTE HOTEL ON FRIDAY FEB 25

Special Guests will be Actor Slash Model, The Blueness (NZ) & The Enclosures

This February sees the return to Melbourne of Brisbane legends Screamfeeder. They're making the trip down to the headline the Applecore Backyard Festival and stop at the Tote on Friday Feb 25 for a one-off special sideshow. One of the most loved and important bands of the 90s, Screamfeeder gained international acclaim for a series of brilliant albums including thier classic, Kitten Licks. Consistantly putting on breathtaking live shows and always sounding fresh, this promises to be a huge night at the famous and grossly appropriate Tote.

Supports come from local pop/noise maestros Actor Slash Model, New Zealand pop wonderkids The Blueness as well as The Enclosures.

Tickets are sure to go fast and are avaliable from www.applecorefestival.com
