what kind of biscuits

recently malt fingers (those TV snack type biscuits) have been getting favoured.

just grow a pair.

i got invited to some shin dig tonight and only know 1 person (the host) and even then only through a friend.

best case scenario - meet a cool girl who i get to see nakey...

likely scenario - speak to some fairly forgettable people for a few hours, meet a few interesting heads, check my watch a whole bunch then go home and watch rage.

not 100% likely but not impossible scenario - get bored/nervous and drink too much & create my own fun. possibly become life of the party, possibly get asked to leave by a teary host/angry, offended dudes.

worst case scenario - stay home instead with my cats, drink tea, eat biscuits, watch a movie and wonder why everyone else gets to have fun. fuck that.

This works better with girls you are attracted to. Selecting randomly can lead to a lot of awkwardness.

fuck, i'm in my early 30s, have just come out of a 3 and a bit years stretch and find meeting people pretty easy.

also being a dude who is over 28, single, not living in a box or with his mother, not working at Subway and having to borrow money off you to go to the pub helps and can hold a semi coherent conversation helps a lot as the pool of dudes who aren't complete spastics tends to dry up around that age.

on the downside, being sized up for your precious dude fluids by walking baby clocks can be really shitty...

I've had a fuck of a lot of that from your colleagues and peers since moving here.

Considering the wait for it and they hype, it was sorta meh.

From memory -

Kirchart had his part prior to the video proper. Started with a montage of old Deja Vu footage before showing some new footage. Still throwing down hammers. The white pants were questionable though.

Brandon Westage - so much pop. ender was huge.

Herman - pretty good part, not his best though.

Spanky - terrible, worst part of the whole film. Less ''epicly later'd'', more ''today I skated''. And crying? FFS...

Provost - can't remember, video started to drag in the middle.

Lots of new dudes/ams - can't recall anything in particular, lots of good skating but nothing mindblowing.

Suski - solid part, dude still has it. Once spent a night at Max Fish with him writing off Zoo York as being lame before I realised who I was talking to. he said it was OK and bought me a beer anyways.

Braydon Szafranski - can't handle this dude just due to his image. such a goat though he had some good tricks. Heaps of ledge stuff which was odd.

Figgy - gnarly hammers.

Jerry Hsu - like everyone else, thought his part was sorta weak, until like everyone else it clicked that his WHOLE part is switch. fuck.

Leo - 2nd best part in the film, some big stuff and some crazy up rail shit... fuck yeah.

Andrew Reynolds- holy shit. Gonna go out on a limb here and say better than Baker 3. How can you still keep doing shit that big at his age and still walk? Dude is unbreakable...

Midlake ''courage of others'' is great even though I'm pretty much listening to The Eagles playing medieval instruments.
