Give them a few moments to quiet down and recognize they may be bothering fellow campers. Be courteous and give them a few minutes to wind down from the day.

Wait at least 5 to 10 minutes before you approach the group to ask nicely to lower the noise. Speak to them about how their voices carry and they're a little too loud.

Step 3

Walk over and in a calm respectful tone of voice let them know they are disturbing your party. Tell them you realize they are having fun, however you appreciate them quieting down the noise.

Step 4

Contact the park management, the camp owner, an attendant or the camp ranger now. Locate management at the check in area or registration desk. Explain the situation as calmly as possible and bring a witness to the loud or inappropriate behavior of the campers.

i'm all for respectful campsites, and am not a music blaster, but aunty is being a bit of an agressive...hmm, cunt?

If noise from your campsite is bothering your neighbours, at any time during the festival, you will be asked to turn it down. If you don't turn it down, you will be evicted and/or your campsite will need to move to the outer-most part of the campgrounds.

This may come as a shock to some people, but other festival-goers don't attend the Meredith Music Festival to be 'entertained' by your personal music taste. Not at 4 in the afternoon and certainly not at 4 in the morning. Absolutely you can play music at your campsite, but absolutely not can it annoy your neighbours. That means it will need to be kept pretty low, as there are no walls out there. You know what I mean?

To put it as delicately as we can...don't blast your stereo in the campground you attention-seeking fuckwit.
