I guess I haven't actually thought about a formula to do it. I kinda like being surprised by what sounds horribly dated when I break out my cassette tapes every now and then. You gotta cling to the small things about music that still surprise right? Your formula sounds like it could work though Frankie. But it's pretty hard to tell what aspects of the music will make it sound dated because you don't really know where things are gonna go and what it's going to contrast against. Or ... do you....???

one of the coolest things about music is that it's impossible to tell, at any given time, what's gonna date and what's not. Def FX have. now massappeal on the other hand...

i love the dale. but agree they should think of something less gimmicky and more long-term. any consider getting tonic with actual bubbles and a half decent wine list. their audience has aged but the bar options haven't. it's dire.

forum was all sightlines and no vibe. oh, and too quiet. always deflating when you can hear people talking over the band. hope they sort it!
